STDs and HIV/AIDS don’t discriminate, we’re all in a position to catch something, but your behaviour can increase or decrease your chances. So which category do you fit in? Choose your answers and find out!
Remember this questionnaire is only for you, no one else will know your answers. Knowing how vulnerable you are is an important first step to taking control of your behaviour.
Whoohooo, you take precautions and make sure you're not at risk. If you've never had sex, now is the time to make sure you have all the know how on how to protect yourself whenever you do have sex. It’s always best to think ahead and protect yourself. There's no point of thinking of condoms after the deed is done, have them in advance – and know where you can get them from.
If you've already had sex, your answers show that you know how to have safe sex. Carrying on protecting yourself the way you know how to and keep you and your partner safe, as well as your future partners.
Hmmm well you’re not exactly the safest person at the moment, you’re taking some risk, as well as some precaution. But not to worry, you can still protect yourself. Visit your health care professional when you are worried about anything or if you need to talk through any of your answers. Make sure you carry on using condoms (every time you have sex) and not sharing needles.
Well you have lived dangerously once or twice. Again it’s never too late to start protecting yourself. You may want to think about how you’ve put yourself at risk of contracting HIV and how in the same situation you can protect yourself. You can also go to your health care professional to talk through your answers, find out how you can protect yourself and discuss if you do want to take an HIV test.
