The Staying Alive Campaign started off back in 1998 as just a one person team — that one person was Georgia Arnold. Fast forward 11 years and Staying Alive is now the largest HIV and AIDS mass media campaign of its kind in the world… Impressive seeing as it started off with just a single World AIDS Day documentary. Meet Georgia, along with some of the newer additions to the team below…
Georgia worked on the first Staying Alive documentary in 1998, and has since been at the forefront of developing Staying Alive in to the largest multimedia HIV/AIDS campaign in the world. Georgia is the SVP of Social Responsibility for MTV International, where she is responsible for developing and implementing initiatives across MTV's broad range of channels.

An Executive Producer for numerous dramas and documentaries, Cathy oversees campaigns and the dissemination of Staying Alive programming content to broadcasters. She says, “I’ve lost enough people to know that HIV isn't a joke and if I can make one person use a condom or not have sex or get tested for HIV, then I’m going to do it”.

Julie joined Staying Alive in 2006 from the BBC where she looked after a number of interactive drama and entertainment projects. Julie is responsible for creative and digital projects across the campaign and foundation.

Yasmin joined the Staying Alive team in 2009. She is responsible for the rights free distribution of all pro-social programming to third party broadcasters for on-air, online and mobile TV. She is the first point of contact for all programming orders. Yasmin previously worked in the Commercial Planning & Strategy department at MTV International.

Siobhan joined the MTV Staying Alive team in 2008. Previously, she worked for MTV’s International Communications team. Siobhan is responsible for co-ordinating all Campaign and Foundation related events. She also works as Production Co-ordinator on Staying Alive programming, including The Diary of Kelly Rowland and Travis McCoy’s Unbeaten Track.

Ben joined Staying Alive back in July 2009 and is responsible for co-ordinating the Ignite project, along with running the Ignite blog and managing the MTV Ignite street team in Kenya, Trinidad and Zambia. Coming from an activism background, Ben’s motivation to work at Staying Alive is to fight the stigmas and discriminations that surround HIV globally.
