The Staying Alive Campaign started off back in 1998 as just a one person team — that one person was Georgia Arnold. Fast forward 11 years and Staying Alive is now the largest HIV and AIDS mass media campaign of its kind in the world… Impressive seeing as it started off with just a single World AIDS Day documentary. Meet Georgia, along with some of the newer additions to the team below…
Georgia started the Staying Alive campaign in 1998, working on the original 'Staying Alive' documentary. Since then, she's been at the forefront of developing Staying Alive into the largest mass-media HIV/AIDS campaign in the world. Georgia is the Senior Vice President of Social Responsibility for MTV Networks International, where she is responsible for developing and implementing all social initiatives across MTV's broad range of channels; she's also the Executive Director of the Staying Alive Foundation, proudly supporting young people all over the world who have the potential to create impact and lasting change within their communities.

Julie joined Staying Alive in 2006 from the BBC where she looked after a number of interactive dramas and entertainment projects. Julie is responsible for creative and digital projects across the campaign and foundation.

Louise joined the Social Responsibility team at MTV in 2009 as Grant Coordinator for the Staying Alive Foundation. Now responsible for marketing and distribution, Louise makes sure that the great content our team makes, is seen around the world. This includes programming, blogs, and promotional spots.

Ben joined Staying Alive back in July 2009 and is responsible for community engagement and social media for MTV Staying Alive and Shuga: Love, Sex, Money. In addition Ben is responsible for youth engagement projects such as the Rising Stars mentorship programme in Kenya. Coming from an activism background, Ben’s motivation to work at Staying Alive is to fight the stigma and discrimination that surround HIV globally.
