I really liked Kelly's Diary. I really liked the fact that she was very eager to learn more about HIV and the fact that she went to Africa to talk to some people that had the disease. I also liked that Marvelyn Brown came to my School (Burke High) and talked to us about HIV and the risks and causes of the disease. Marvelyn also talked to us about her life and how her mother was acting like she didn't want Marvelyn around. Marvelyn also talked to the Youth In Action group and others about her life now. She said if she could go back and change the things that she did she would. Thanks Marevlyn for being so courageous!

I enjoy the "The Diary of Kelly Rowland"! She showed her true emotions. Ms. Kelly Rowland wasn't afraid that people may think that she's soft or anything. Most celebrities don't go to places like Africa or rural places that are not like the United States of America. As I watched her diary I learned about all types of situations. Hearing people's personal stories, I saw that people had to do all kinds of things to survive the situations that they were in. Watching the Diary encourage me to go and get tested and also tell others to want to know their status also.

I am from South Carolina and apart of the YIA Group that MTV funds. I attened the premiere of this film and I was very pleased. The film touched me in my own special way. I was also featured in the film. The film showed me that AIDS just isn't affecting United States, it also affects other countries. I am really proud of Ms. Rowland and keep up the good work.

When I went to the premire for Kelly Rowland's diary in charleston it was very good. The premire was talking about young children with aids or some kinds of diseases.Ms. Natalia and Marvelyn were so good when they gave their speeches. Even though Marvelyn is living with HIV she still gets done what she needs to get done. She lives her life like a person without HIV.Its like she doesn't have it at all .That really opened my eyes to see life for real.I don't want to end up with HIV, so I would consider not having sex for a while and protection.I want to finish school and go to college without other things on my mind that I would have to worry about and stand in my way of accomplishing my goals.

When I saw the Diary of Kelly Rowland I was very excited. I saw how people live in other places. Some of the stories really touched me. Although there were some really bad situations everything wasn't bad. The video encouraged some people to go get tested. I also liked the the fact that we got to see that Kelly Rowland is a very nice person to be around and she likes to help other people. The open disscussions they had about HIV/AIDS was interesting. The best part of the video was the Welcome To Charleston Sign.Ms. Natalia's story showed people that they should change some of their ways and get tested because of getting HIV/AIDS can change your life and everyone around you. Meeting Marvelyn was a nice experience also. She is no different than anyone else. She is very down to earth and she doesn't let having HIV/AIDS bring her spirit down. I hope that one day I can meet Kelly Rowland also and hear her input on HIV/AIDS.

I really really enjoyed watching Kellys "staying alive" diary. I am a world vision youth ambassador and one of the messages we preach is staying alive by protecting yourself. Sometimes its so hard because some of the stories that you hear of about people that have contracted the disease shock you to the core. Whats worse is the stigma attached to this disease. Am originally from Zambia in Africa and having the opportunity to be in England at university is something i do appreciate and i merely want to use what i have gained and learned from society as a platform and a way to give back to my community. This has definately reminded me to continue to fight for a good cause and be that advocate for people whose voices arent loud enough. Thanks kelly!xx
