Transit
The Transit Teaching Kit has been created to be used with the film Transit. It is made for teachers, peer educators, youth leaders, anybody really who works with young people ages 15-25. If you're a young person yourself, you can always download the kit and show it to your teacher, or bring it to your youth group and ask them to use it. All you need is the kit and send us an e-mail to ask a copy of the film Transit, which we will send to you at no cost.
The lesson plans in the kit are easy, informative, and don't require experienced teachers. All of the lessons expand on critical issues touched upon in the film Transit. This kit helps to explore those issues and how they relate to young people's lives in a structured and informative manner. These discussions will raise awareness about HIV and encourage the empowerement of individuals' decision-making-two necessary tools to help combat the spread of HIV and AIDS in our communities.
