Kanye Speaks Out!
Staying Alive recently hooked up with hip hop superstar Kanye West.
Here's what he had to say on:
Masturbation:
"When I was in high school, it was kind of embarrassing because my mom would speak at schools and promote masturbation as a form of safe sex – and everyone in class would look at me like…. And I’d be like, ‘yes, I do masturbate’. And you know what; it did help to keep me safe. Ha, it wasn’t like I had a choice though! However, I would say that if you do have a choice, it’s still a good option."
Being a role model:
"I definitely think that celebrities, and especially musicians, can help, maybe changing people’s lives, you know, especially music because you listen to it over and over. I definitely try and put a lot of lyrics in my albums that can help people."
On staying safe:
"I would just tell people to be as conscientious as possible – and think – your life is in your own hands. And if you are living with the virus, maybe someone else’s life is in your hands… you need to be careful about that."
